Coral Med offers a different way to look after your well-being
By combining health, wellness, and aesthetics, our practice takes a unique approach to health that focuses on all aspects of a person's well-being. We offer direct primary care access plans that forego traditional health insurance. Instead, we allow you to directly interact with a doctor who gets to know you, works to understand your healthcare goals, and partners with you in developing a plan to get you there.

We know we're a little different, so you may have questions about how we work. This page will answer some of the most common questions, but if you need additional information, get in touch with the Coral Med team for answers.
-
What is direct primary care (DPC)?Direct primary care allows you to access primary care services directly from a provider instead of through an insurance company. You pay your doctor for the services instead of the insurance company, which then pays the doctor. It's eliminating the middle man and allowing patients and their care providers more freedom to interact in the healthcare process. There is no insurance paperwork, no waiting for the insurance company to approve or deny your claim, and no maximum out-of-pocket spend. At Coral Med, our direct primary care plan means you'll pay a monthly fee for comprehensive primary care services and some urgent care services.
-
Do you accept my insurance? We do not accept any insurance plans.
-
What's included with my Coral Med membership?Your affordable monthly fee gives you comprehensive access to primary care, including office appointments, virtual visits, physicals, routine screening, and care for chronic conditions such as high blood pressure and diabetes. You'll also get access to the lowest possible price on labs and imaging.
-
Do you offer Women Wellness Exams? No, we do not. Women's health needs vary, therefore we recommend visiting your gynecologist who understands your unique needs.
-
Should I still get health insurance if I have a DPC plan?Yes. Our plans cover your primary care along with some urgent care services. However, you should carry insurance to cover hospitalizations, emergency services, and surgeries. You can work with an insurance broker or another expert to help determine the best coverage for you.
-
Why should I get a DPC plan with Coral Med?This is a healthcare model for people who: Aren't able to get health insurance through their workplace Want longer appointments and more personalized care from their doctor Wish they could communicate with their primary care provider electronically Are frustrated with wait times in overcrowded clinics and doctor's offices Are tired of paying monthly co-pays that cover next-to-nothing Want to get more out of their primary care
-
How much is a DPC plan, and what is included? Our affordable care fees are paid monthly. The cost is based on your age, not on your health. You can find details about the cost of our plans and what's included in them on our Membership and Pricing page.
-
What if I want to cancel my membership? Our plans don't require long-term contracts. If you wish to cancel your membership to Coral Med, just get in touch with our team, and they'll cancel it immediately.
-
What other services do you offer?Coral Med offers comprehensive medical aesthetics services, medical weight loss along with primary care services. Our aesthetic services include microneedling, injectables, fillers, and more. It's part of our goal of uniting health, wellness, and aesthetics to give our patients the tools they need to achieve their well-being goals.
